Filter Housings
Filter Housings for Bag and Cartridge Systems
Filter housings should be selected around flow rate, pressure rating, housing material, connection size, seal type, element count, installation space, and process conditions. Because housing requirements vary by system, Go2Filter treats housing inquiries as RFQ-only.
RFQ-first notice: pricing, availability, freight, and lead time must be confirmed before order acceptance. Please do not assume a fixed online checkout price for housing projects.
Common information to provide includes process liquid, flow rate, pressure, temperature, connection type, housing material, element size, quantity, and any existing drawings or photos.

Information to Prepare Before Requesting a Bag Filter Housing Quote
Bag filter housing requests are easier to review when the sizing and process details are clear before quotation. A housing that looks similar from the outside may still require different bag size, connection layout, material, seal, flow, pressure, or installation details. If some information is unknown, send what you have and mark the missing items clearly instead of guessing.
Before requesting a quote, try to prepare:
- service fluid or application;
- target flow rate;
- normal operating pressure;
- normal operating temperature;
- design pressure and design temperature, if already specified by the project;
- filter bag size, such as size #1, size #2, or another required size;
- number of bags, such as single-bag or multi-bag housing;
- filtration rating or micron requirement;
- housing material request, such as stainless steel or another material to be reviewed;
- inlet and outlet size;
- connection type, such as flange, thread, clamp, or other connection;
- seal or gasket material, if known;
- cover opening style or cover preference;
- available installation space and pipe direction;
- skid-mounted or standalone requirement, if relevant;
- quantity and expected operating environment.
Photos and drawings can reduce back-and-forth before quotation. Useful files include an existing housing nameplate, side photos, inlet and outlet photos, cover and clamp photos, basket or bag-support photos, installation-space photos, sketches, drawings, or an old purchase specification. These do not replace final technical confirmation, but they can help the supplier understand the housing configuration more quickly.
FAQ
Can I request a housing quote if I do not know every detail?
Yes. Send the available flow, pressure, temperature, bag size, material request, connection details, quantity, and application information. Mark unknown items clearly.
Why are flow rate and pressure important?
They help the supplier review whether the housing configuration should be single-bag, multi-bag, or another arrangement before quotation.
Do drawings or photos help?
Yes. Drawings, nameplates, site photos, and connection photos can clarify the housing structure and reduce repeated questions.
Can material or seal selection be confirmed from the checklist alone?
No. Material and seal details should be reviewed against the actual liquid, temperature, pressure, and application requirements before final confirmation.
If you are preparing a bag filter housing inquiry, send your sizing inputs, process conditions, photos, drawings, and quantity. Go2Filter can review the information and ask focused questions before quotation. You can request a filtration quote when the available details are ready.
