Nylon Mesh Filter Bags
Nylon mesh liquid filter bags provide a defined-opening path for straining, prefiltration, and particle recovery when nylon and the complete bag construction are suitable. Compare configurations by mesh opening, measured size, top style, seam construction, and fit with the support basket or housing. A polymer name or opening value alone does not establish compatibility or absolute retention.
Mesh construction and opening
Nylon monofilament or mesh creates a surface-straining structure with a defined opening. Specify the required mesh construction, seam, ring or collar, and any finishing details shown on the current bag, drawing, or sample. Choose an opening or micron requirement in relation to the particles, filtration objective, solids load, and flow conditions. A stated mesh opening does not by itself guarantee retention of every particle at that size.
Confirm the bag diameter and length, ring or collar style and material, seam, support basket, and housing model. Size labels can help identify a starting point, but actual dimensions and sealing details should still be checked. For replacement review, clear photographs of the complete bag, top construction, labels, and the installed basket or housing can supplement dimensions and drawings.
If the current opening is unknown, describe the particles, required process result, and observed filtration behavior. This gives the review a practical objective without assigning an unsupported opening or retention claim.
Operating and cleaning review
Final selection depends on the liquid and additives, normal and peak operating temperature, particles and solids load, flow, cleaning method, expected reuse, and the condition of the seam and ring. Possible cleaning and reuse depend on the contaminants, cleaning method, liquid chemistry, temperature, and whether the mesh remains structurally sound after service. Do not assume that every nylon mesh bag or application supports repeated use.
Prepare the RFQ
Provide the bag size, diameter and length, mesh opening or micron requirement, current material information, ring or collar, seam, exact liquid and additives, temperature, flow and solids load when known, housing or basket information, quantity, and any current model, drawing, photographs, or sample reference.
